FREE Photography Workshop:

Can't decide between film and digital? What are pixels? Don't know anything about the aperture and shutter speed? Come see various cameras and learn before you buy. Offered: Nov 10 from 6 - 8 pm

Basic Photography: Simple Steps to Better Photos

- $35
This class will cover the basics in composition and lighting, perspective and your point of interest, camera care, the right film for the job or digital cards, lenses and other accessories, and getting the most from your prints. Offered: Nov 13 from 6 - 8 pm or Dec 5 from 9:30 – 11:30 am

Beyond the Basics: Camera Know How

- $45 This class will cover auto and manual mode, highlight camera features and how to use them: white balance, resolution, the digital language and the printing process. Learn the process of saving, e-mailing, and basic touch-ups. Offered: Nov 19 from 9:30 - 11:30 am or Nov 21 from 6 – 8 pm

The Day as a Photographer: A Hands-on Workshop

- $100
This five-hour workshop is packed full with two professional photographers and model. We will cover the camera, the subject, the model, as well as lighting and posing. We will be taking pictures indoors as well as outside. Lunch is provided. Offered: Jan 2010

Basic Drawing ages 6-12

- $40*
This four-session introduction to drawing is geared toward the attention span and skills of a young child. Students learn the elements of shape and how to interpret their own creative renderings. Media: markers, pencil and water color.

Basic Drawing ages 13-Adult

- $40*
This four-session step-by-step introduction is ideal for nervous beginners and an independent study for intermediate artists. Students learn the elements of shape through still life and landscapes. Media: pencil, pastel and watercolor.

Stained Glass Workshop

This three-hour workshop is a great way to learn the basics of stained glass whether you're a beginner or intermediate. The class includes everything you will need to make your choice of a snowflake or Christmas tree to take home or give as a gift.

Acrylic Painting

- $40*
If you enjoy painting this three-session class is a must! Have no experience? No problem! Let our instructor guide you step-by-step through your first acrylic painting. You will learn all the basics from start to finish. Even with some experience you will enjoy learning new, exciting tricks and techniques that every artist should know. Media: acrylic paints, canvas.
