Writers and Poets Workshop
This writers and poets workshop will offer many of the tools you need to become a better writer! We will offer a powerful way to improve your writing or poetry, as well as to share it with others of your ilk more fully.
We will explore writing at all levels of the mind and enliven the senses. We intend to bring your writing alive and learn the steps that prepare us for reading in a way that helps listeners enter the experience fully. In the process, we will sharpen our awareness of the quality of sounds and the power of images, of the way line breaks enhancing meaning and deepen silence, of the subtle rhythms present in free verse.
This kind of play with words tends to take us to the deep place from which the words come. You may choose to write your own words, polish it, and if you wish, prepare to read it to the group at the end of the workshop during our Writers, Readers and Bad Poetry coffee house.

Fashion Show - Featuring Prom Formal Wear and Wedding Dresses
We will be offering a unique fashion show to highlight our formal wear with special attention to our prom dresses and wedding gowns.
We are looking for volunteers to assist us as we invite Greene County high schools to participate in this special event. We are seeking runway models, lighting and stage help, textile classes, and 4-H clubs.
In addition, we will offer limited exhibit tables at this event for local Greene County businesses. We are seeking florists, photographers, limo services, bands, catering services, jewelers and associated business.

Our Kids Art Party offers an entertaining way to create a memorable occasion with your child and their friends while they have fun singing, drawing, and painting. We can provide all supplies, birthday cake, ice cream, snacks, and refreshments. Most importantly, we clean up the mess!!

Our Adult Art Party offers an engaging way to enjoy the company of your friends in an adult setting while learning to draw and paint. We can provide all supplies, birthday cake, ice cream, snacks, and refreshments.

Throughout the year we also offer unique seasonal courses to meet the demands for any holiday or events. Some of these classes include folk art, wreath making, glass and furniture painting, egg and silk scarf coloring, scrap booking, altered books, watering can and herb garden pot painting, and calligraphy to name a few.
